Ben Medansky and Kelly Wearstler worked together and the result is the exclusive Berdorf Goodman Ceramics Collection. The American artist is a ceramics craftsman based in Los Angeles. An Arizona native, Ben studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, later moving to LA and continuing his work at the studios of Peter Shire, Shio Kusaka and the Haas Brothers.
Starting his own studio – Ben Medansky Ceramics – at the age of 24, Ben began to create his own limited design lines. His latest work sees him collaborate with the world renown Kelly Wearstler, on an exclusive collection for Bergdorf Goodman. Coined Pyrite, the collection follows the young craftsman’s aesthetic, exploring sleek and minimalist lines, with Kelly’s unmistakable luxury touch.
