London’s Most Romantic Restaurant according to The Telegraph

The Clos Maggiore has been repeatedly voted the most romantic restaurant in London. So, it may not be a coincidence that many proposals have been made under its influence. Also, the restaurant happens to have one of the capital’s blockbuster collections of vino, so, in case the conversation around the table runs dry, there’s a 100-page wine list where you can read about 2.500 different wines.

Of course, the extended wine choice is not the only reason, so many gentlemen have popped the question. The setting of this beautiful restaurant is simply magical. The back room looks like an idyllic courtyard restaurant in the south of France, twinkling with fairy lights and fake apple blossom. It may sound tacky, but it actually is very charming, especially when the summer skylight is open to the night air and diners eat under the stars.
