The new Ducati Diavel Titanium, produced in a limited series of just 500 numbered bikes, was created to satisfy the demands of those in search of an even more radical degree of customization and refinement.
The philosophy inspiring the Diavel Titanium is that of creating an exclusive bike enhanced with components and accessories made in sophisticated and innovative materials.
The Diavel Titanium features unique, machine-finished wheels forged from lightweight aluminium. The front rim is 3.5×17, while the rear is 8×17, and wears a massive 240-section rear tyre for incredible grip and ultimate street style.
Ducati describes the Diavel Titanium as making “a bold statement” and “wanted to take the bold and unique Diavel to a whole new level of prestige and desirability.”
The Diavel Titanium is certainly an attractive looking version of the Diavel, though the machine lacks the Desmodromic Variable Timing that is debuting on the 2015 Ducati Multistrada.
Only 500 units will be made of the Diavel Titanium, making the machine a limited-production model from Borgo Panigale.
This means that the same 162hp Testastretta 11° Dual Spark engine is at the heart of the street bike, pushing its 452 lbs curb weight form down the road with a spirited drive.
Other changes for the Titanium model include a redesigned and widened passenger seat cover, larger carbon fiber air intakes, carbon fiber radiator covers, micro windscreen, front and rear mudguards, front sprocket cover, and filler cap. The exhaust has also been ceramic-coated black, with the silencers being composed of brushed stainless steel.
Price and availability aren’t listed yet, but the ballpark is surely above $20,000 as the 2015 Diavel Carbon’s MSRP is listed at $20,995. Only 500 units are planned for production.
