Henry who’s family were wealthy like dynasty, guarded this and other very precious stones in a drawer. Hope Spinel, is not so popular to the public, but the first time that this rare and so special stone was put up for autction, was sold in Christie’s for 1.060 pounds which in today money would be the value of 80.00 pounds.
