Vertu is a luxury phone brand reportedly owned by an exiled Turkish businessman. The brand has revealed a brand new limited edition feature phone: The Signature Cobra. The Luxury Toy Vertu Signature Cobra Limited Edition has been launched and it sells for an exorbitant CNY 2.47 million. This special edition will be available online via a Chinese e-commerce platform.
The Vertu Signature Cobra is going to be available for orders after a down payment of the CNY 1,000 after which interested users will have to pay the rest of the amount upfront. The Vertu feature phone will be delivered to consumers by a helicopter which doesn’t seem too surprising considering the price of the handset. All accordingly to a luxury lifestyle!
It has been confirmed by the brand that there will be only eight units of the new Signature Cobra feature phone to be made available worldwide. GizChina reports that there will be only one unit which will be available in China.
The present phone edition has been designed by a France-based jewelry brand, Boucheron. Some of the other highlights of the new Vertu phone include the 439 rubies it has, fitted in a Cobra design. There is no surprise that the phone features a cobra design around the front and the eyes pack 2 emerald stones.
The new Vertu phone is also said to come with other gems. Regarding design, the new Vertu Signature Cobra follows design cues of the original Signature phone.
According to GizChina report, the new Vertu phone features 388 different parts and has been assembled in the UK. The phone is believed to have been made with hands for precision. No details were overlooked.
