Dubai Design Week is an annual event made to celebrate and promote the creativity and design in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Providing a meeting point for the global artistic community, this design exhibition presents interior design ideas with contemporary design, attracts over 60,000 visitors and it is considered the largest creative festival in the Middle East.
Incorporating design across a range of disciplines such as architecture, product, interior, graphic design, and unique furniture with exclusive design by luxury brands, Dubai Design Week is introduced under the support of HH Sheikha Latifa Bint Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, Dubai Culture & Arts Authority.
The next edition of Dubai Design Week takes place 12 to 17 November 2018, will be organized in partnership with the Dubai Design District (d3) and will have a varied programme of design-related events, exhibitions, shows, awards, talks and workshops, and experiences, showing to all the visitors some fine art pieces made by famous interior designers.
The event’s fourth edition programme will feature the region’s leading design fair, Downtown Design, and its inaugural showcase dedicated to limited-edition design, Downtown Editions; Global Grad Show, which brings together projects from 100 of the most innovative universities across the world; and Abwab, the curated and interactive project containing original design from the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia.
Owned and managed by the Art Dubai Group, the whole design event is free to attend and accessible for the design industry and the public. Dubai Design Week can be the perfect exhibition for a design-lovers and to get inspired with some home décor ideas.
